What UMMA Relief Does
UMMA Relief gets food, medicine and supplies to people in an emergency: meals for children in refugee camps, surgeries for people who would not otherwise get them.
We also do the things that are not about survival: a celebration for the children in a camp, or essentials handed out on a holiday. They matter too.
What Relief Pays For
Hunger, dirty water, no doctor, no school. Children are hit first by all four, so that is where the relief goes.
Hunger
Children go hungry first. Meals of Hope feeds children and their families in war zones and in the poorest places we work.
Healthcare
In a war zone, a child with no doctor suffers first. UMMA Relief pays for the surgeries and treatment they would not otherwise get.
Water Access
Millions of children have no clean water. We dig wells and install filters so they can drink safely.
Education
War closes schools. We rebuild them, supply them, and set up safe places to learn, so children can keep learning.
