Food, medical aid and emergency supplies for families in Yemen, Gaza, Lebanon and Sudan.

  • A recording studio

Podcasters and filmmakers get the room, the gear and the help to make a first project.

  • A nonprofit halal restaurant

Every dollar of profit goes to free meals and the other community programs on this site.

  • A bus that serves free meals

Hot meals, blankets and hygiene kits, driven out to the streets of New York every week, and more cities next.

  • A youth center

Our first youth and family center, at 6 Arc Place, Staten Island, open seven days a week.

What Is Happening

Need does not stop at the border. People sleep outside in American cities through the winter, and families a few streets from us are choosing between rent and food.

What UMMA Is Doing

The Hope Bus runs a weekly route with hot meals, blankets and hygiene kits, starting in New York and adding cities as the funding allows. Our restaurants give away food from their own kitchens. Your donation pays for the meals and keeps the route running.
