Campaign in Sudan
Sudan Crisis Response
War has emptied whole neighborhoods in Sudan. Families who had a home in the morning are sleeping somewhere else by the evening, and the markets that used to feed them are closed, looted, or priced out of reach. Hunger here is not a slow decline. It arrives in weeks. UMMA Relief works with local kitchens and volunteers who are already inside these communities, because they know which streets to reach and they are there before we are. Together we cook and hand out hot meals, and we go back to the same places so families can count on it. Your donation buys ingredients, fuel for the kitchens, and the transport that gets food to families who cannot travel to collect it. Give once, or give monthly so the kitchens can plan past the end of the week.
Campaign in United States
United States Relief
Food insecurity in the United States does not look like a crisis on the news. It looks like a parent skipping dinner so their children do not, a rent payment made by not buying groceries, a senior choosing between medication and a full cupboard. UMMA Relief works through masjids, food banks, and neighborhood volunteers across the country to get groceries and hot meals to families who have run short this month. No paperwork and no proving you deserve it. If you need food, there is food. Your donation stocks a pantry, fills a grocery card, and covers the meals we serve on the ground. It stays in the United States, and it reaches families near you.
Campaign in Lebanon
Fighting Hunger, One Loaf at a Time
Bread is the meal in Lebanon. When the currency collapsed the price of a bag of it did not simply rise, it moved out of reach, and families who were managing a year ago now count loaves. UMMA Relief buys directly from local bakeries and distributes bread to families who cannot afford it. Buying through the bakeries rather than around them is the point: it keeps bakers in work, keeps the ovens lit, and keeps the supply in the neighborhood instead of trucking it in. Your donation is measured in loaves. A small one feeds a family for a week. A monthly one keeps a bakery running and a distribution route open.

Since 2021
Since then, with people like you, UMMA has become more than a place to donate. We are an entrepreneurial community: we help in a crisis, then build projects that keep going, so people can stand on their own again.

We're building income of our own to cover what it costs to run UMMA, so every dollar you give goes out as help, and more on top.
