About
The Struggle for Warmth in Gaza's Camps
As winter's chill settles over Gaza, families living in overcrowded camps face a daily battle against the cold. Many of them have nothing more than tattered clothes to shield them from the freezing temperatures. For children, this is a life-threatening situation, cold-related illnesses and hunger make survival even more difficult. But together, we can make a difference.

Your Donation Can Bring Hope
With your help, we can provide warm coats to families, ensuring that they have one less thing to worry about during this harsh winter. A simple coat can mean the difference between a cold, sleepless night and the warmth of hope. Your donation will directly contribute to sending life-saving aid to those who need it most, delivering a smile and a warm embrace through a simple act of compassion.
Your Donation Brings More Than Warmth
Every coat you help provide will bring not only physical warmth but also emotional warmth, knowing that someone cares. In Gaza's refugee camps, where daily survival is a struggle, your support is a ray of hope. It's a reminder that the world is watching, and that kindness can make the unbearable more bearable. With every coat, you are not only helping protect against the cold, you are helping preserve the dignity of those who feel forgotten.
Together, we can help transform the harsh winter months into a season of resilience, solidarity, and care. Your donation today can change lives for the better.

What Is Happening
Families in Gaza have been displaced again and again, and the markets, clinics and water systems they relied on are gone. Hunger here is not a slow decline. It arrives in weeks, and it reaches children first.
What UMMA Is Doing
We work through kitchens and medical teams already inside these communities, because they know which streets to reach and they are there before we are. Your donation buys ingredients, fuel, medicine and the transport that gets all three to families who cannot travel to collect them.
Common Questions
Is my donation secure?
Card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers. We see the amount, the campaign and the receipt address, nothing else.
Are my donations tax deductible?
Yes, to the extent allowed by law. You receive a receipt for every donation, and all of them are in My Donations, in the UMMA app or your dashboard on the web.
Can I give my Zakat to UMMA?
Yes, and only to campaigns marked Zakat eligible. Zakat is restricted to the categories in Surah At Tawbah (9:60), so UMMA will not let it be applied anywhere else. If no eligible campaign is open, we say so rather than route it elsewhere.
How do you decide where donations go?
Donations go to the campaign you choose, and that campaign shows its own progress. If you donate without choosing one, funds go where the need is greatest at that moment.
Can I cancel a recurring donation?
Yes, at any time, in My Donations in the UMMA app or on the web. No email and no phone call. Gave without an account? The link in your receipt email cancels it.
Something went wrong with my donation. Who do I tell?
Email hello@ummafoundation.org with the receipt number and a person replies. Refunds follow the refund policy on this site.
What happens if this campaign does not reach its goal?
The work carries on with what was raised. Donations are not held back waiting for a total and they are not moved to another campaign: they go to this one, and the progress bar shows exactly where it stands.
What happens if it raises more than its goal?
It keeps accepting donations and the extra goes to the same work. A goal is what we planned for, not a cap on the need, and a campaign that has passed its goal is still the campaign you chose.
